LTG Announces New Executive Search Engagement - UH Vice Chair, Department of Emergency Medicine - Operations & Provider Engagement
The Leadership Talent Group (LTG) has been retained by the University Hospitals (UH), to conduct a national executive search for the position of Vice Chair, Department of Emergency Medicine - Operations & Provider Engagement.
University Hospitals perfectly blends community and academic medicine throughout its caregiver network, and this is exemplified in Center for Emergency Medicine. Reporting to the Department Chair of Emergency Medicine at CMC and Emergency Medicine Physician-in-Chief of UH, the Vice Chair, Department of Emergency Medicine - Operations & Provider Engagement will oversee the Emergency Medicine Quality Network (EMQN), including operations, clinical practice, information technology, simulation, quality, and education. In addition, this role will bring expertise and demonstrated leadership in advancements in medical education, residency, fellowships, research, finance, data management, and informatics.
Currently, UH has the third largest emergency services coverage area in the country, providing more than 5,000 critical care transportation rides per year and serving 255 communities across Northeast Ohio. The UH emergency medicine system encompasses 10 emergency departments that participate in the UH Emergency Medicine Quality Network and serve more than 400,000 patients per year.
