LTG Announces New Executive Search Engagement - UVACH VP Chief Clinical Officer

The Leadership Talent Group (LTG) has been retained by the University of Virginia Health Community Division (UVACH) to conduct a national executive search for the position of VP Chief Clinical Officer.

UVACH is the community medicine arm of UVA Health, comprised of three community hospitals and an integrated network of clinical practices and outpatient locations in Northern Virginia and Culpeper. The incumbent brings a high level of clinical expertise that supports the integrated health system model, providing world class care across Virginia, with numerous awards and accreditations from leading organizations and accreditation bodies, including The Joint Commission, The Leapfrog Group A Grade for Hospital Safety, Becker's Hospital Review Great Community Hospitals, and US News & World Report High Performing Hospital - Heart Attack. 

The Vice President & Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) acts as a facility liaison at Prince William Medical Center (PWMC) and Haymarket Medical Center (HAMC) and promoter of the interrelationships between the medical staff, administration, and hospital departments in pursuit of the highest appropriate levels of medical care. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of principles, standards, and models of acute care operations, preferably in complex, matrixed organizations, including academic environments. The incumbent will be highly skilled in influencing others, developing new programs, building infrastructure for sustainable growth, and executing complex change at a fast pace. The CCO will possess a strong business acumen, exemplary team engagement,  stewardship of resources, and an unfaltering drive to succeed.
