LTG Announces New Executive Search Engagement
The Leadership Talent Group (LTG) has been retained by the University Hospitals (UH), to conduct a national executive search for the position of Vice President - UH Connor Whole Health. UH is a nationally recognized, $5.4b integrated health system operating 21 hospitals, 50+ health centers/outpatient facilities and over 200 physician offices in Cleveland and 16 counties in northern Ohio.
The Vice President (VP) - UH Connor Whole Health (CWH) will be a MD/DO, offering thought leadership in well-being that contributes to UH related initiatives. With operations and clinical expertise in integrative medicine and related fields, the VP will add value to servicing UH's mission, communities, patients and caregivers. Reporting to the UH System Chief Operating Officer, also a physician executive, the VP partners in close collaboration with a variety of UH health system medical leaders in pain management, cancer care, women's health, behavioral health, pediatric care, population health, physical medicine and rehabilitation and orthopedics, and other corporate partnerships. The VP leads a team that today serves 50,000 patients, supported by 70 caregivers and oversees Spiritual Care.
At the core of the role, this versatile and energetic physician executive will bring "many firsts" to CWH that culminate in clinical and operations leadership, a vision for growth, evidenced-based practices in quality and research, new pathways to education and marketing, collaborative physician engagement, and a close partnership with community and national audiences.
Critical to success in this role is leading integrative program development, expanding patient access, advocating for system integration, promoting value-based care -- all inextricably linking clinical outcomes and patient experience. Further, the incumbent will be at the forefront of championing philanthropic relationships that establish UH as a national leader in integrative health.
The ideal candidate will maintain a medical practice that serves the UH Clinical Integrated Health Network, brings demonstrated leadership experience within a complex health system, procures trends in legislative, regulatory, and reimbursement protocols, and acts as a resource for shaping a national perspective that compliments and aligns with UH's strategic plans and financial stewardship objectives.
