LTG Announces New Executive Search Engagement - Rady Children’s Hospital Orange County, Surgeon in Chief

The Leadership Talent Group (LTG) has been retained by Rady Children’s Hospital Orange County to conduct a national executive search for the position of Surgeon in Chief. 

The Surgeon in Chief (SIC) reports to the EVP & Regional President Orange County for Rady Children’s Hospital Orange in Orange County, California.

The Surgeon in Chief is the senior physician leader for surgical services and a central member of the institution’s clinical leadership. They will be eligible for a faculty appointment at UC Irvine School of Medicine, at rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. 

The SIC provides the vision, standards and operating discipline required to advance exceptional surgical care across specialties that integrate the academic mission, people, programs, strategy, and infrastructure needed for sustained national leadership. Primary responsibilities include setting the culture and strategic direction, asserting appropriate clinical authority, defining expectations, ensuring accountability, and communicating the direction of surgical programs.
